Pregnancy considerations in women with eye disease: for non-ophthalmologists
Ophthalmic conditions are common in women of childbearing age, and treatments for these are evolving at a fast pace. When these women become pregnant, the obstetrician may be unfamiliar with the effect of pregnancy on their eye condition, the medications used in ophthalmology and therefore their potential impact on pregnancy, as well as delivery practicalities that need to be considered. This training day aims to cover all of these aspects in detail.
Directed by Charlotte Frise, Consultant Obstetric Physician based at Queen Charlotte's and Chelsea Hospital in London, and featuring leading speakers who are passionate about this topic, this half-day live online course aims to cover all of these aspects in detail.
